A FEW NOVEMBER THINGS






































  • 40-foot-films screening of birds.
  • advanced showing of hitchcock.
  • dearly beloved anthropologie.
  • adoring disney store mirrors.
  • choco-almond float with kahlua.
  • i've been cheek-kissed 2x in this.
  • garfunkel & oates!
  • ready for a 90th birthday party.
there are so many things for me to be excited about this season. i feel in my element when the holidays roll around, i have a feeling that this spirit will carry well over into 2013- enough to last me until next fall anyways. i will be going to italy and possibly other cities nearby this summer with david and his family. this will be my first time traveling to europe! this december will mark 5 years since i've seen my family, and thankfully it will be no more than that! my mother has agreed to visit me this christmas. i can't wait to relax with her and catch up. dolce far niente! (sweet doing nothing/pleasant idleness)

  8. You wear bold patterns so well and your hair is adorable. This is such a nice, upbeat post. So far I have no specific holiday plans and I may have to work on Thanksgiving, but I'm excited to see my family all the same.

  11. all of this sounds so wonderful! i'm so jealous you'll be traveling in europe, but still so happy for you! be sure to bring a camera!

    i also always feel in my element around the holidays. it's always like, "my time to shine" because i'm a really good gift giver, and i go out of my way to make things nice for people and i actually take time off of other stuff to spend more time with family.

    anyway, hope everything is going well with you, dear. have you started holiday shopping yet?

  15. I am so excited about getting into the christmas spirit, eating good food and spend time with loved ones! Christmas is by far my favorite holiday and all the christmas decoration that are coming up are making me get into the festive mode already! :) By the way, I love your blog and I just put your blog button in my sidebar. :) Thanks for all the inspiration!
